Build a House

Hope and Horizons was founded on the belief that every individual is born with dignity and destiny, both of which can be taken through homelessness. Whether its government instability and tropical storms in Central America, the pursuit of clean water and food sources in sub Saharan Africa, or military invasion in Ukraine, losing a home strips people of the dignity associated with having a place to call their own. Without this dignity, the belief in a positive future becomes challenging, leading to the tragic surrender of destiny.

Change a Life

Irrespective of the reasons or locations surrounding an individual or family’s homelessness, Hope and Horizons believes in the necessity to actively engage and make a difference. Beginning with a focus on the pressing needs of displaced citizens in war-torn Ukraine, we actively sought out families and individuals who have faced the tragedy of losing their homes. Our mission is to restore hope, paving the way for better tomorrows.

Shape the Future

A home is not just a shelter from the elements, it’s a haven of life and love for a family. It’s a place where people put down roots, where they shape their environment, where they cultivate the sense of belonging for themselves. In a home a child is secure. Security guides his or her progress through academic, social, and spiritual development. It gives them courage to bond with friends and dream of a future for his or her own family. In short, a home doesn’t impact one family; it impacts generations shaped from the hope that there are better things beyond the horizons!

Who You’re Helping
