But what if I told you that traveling to places where homelessness is rampant can do even more than that? It can ignite a fire within us to make a real difference in the world.
That’s exactly what happening to us. Ryan, Randall (our talented videographer), and I are gearing up for our first trip together, and let me tell you, it’s going to be one for the books. We’re packing our bags and heading off to war-torn Ukraine, not for sightseeing or selfies, but to make a real, tangible difference in someone’s life.
Why Ukraine, you ask? Well, it all started with a simple realization: Sometimes you’ve gotta see the need up close and personal to truly understand how you can help. And that’s exactly what we intend to do. We’re diving headfirst into the heart of the community, ready to listen, learn, and lend a helping hand wherever it’s needed most.
Our mission? To give away our first home to a single mom and her son who lost everything in the conflict. It’s a journey fueled by compassion, fueled by a desire to see change firsthand, and fueled by the unwavering belief that together, we can make a difference.
