Building Hope in Guatemala
Our first family in Guatemala is funded, ready, and waiting for construction to begin. Follow the journey from the very beginning.

Guatemala is one of the most unequal countries in Latin America, where poverty and inadequate housing affect millions of families. After seeing the impact of our work in El Salvador, we knew we had to go further. Guatemala is the next step in our mission to rebuild hope across Central America.
Meet our first Guatemala family
The Najera Family
William is a good man. He works hard. He loves his family. He does everything he can.
He and Elvira lost their daughter Yuvia — she passed after a kidney transplant and dengue fever. They buried her on Mother’s Day.
Now Justin and Guadalupe sleep in a tin and cardboard shack on borrowed land, exposed to the same conditions that made their sister’s fight so much harder.
William even saved enough to buy land a kilometer away — but building on it could take years. He just needs someone to help carry what he can’t.

Why We’re Going to Guatemala
A hand up, not a handout — why we moved Guatemala up and what we believe happens when families finally get a foundation.
Meet the Najera Family
