He Stayed.

When everyone else left… Anatoli stayed.

His mom is 85. And he chose to take care of her.

For the last four years, they lived side by side in a space he made for them — doing whatever it took to stay together.

“I just couldn’t leave her.”

And standing there with them, it hit me…

This is the woman who once carried him. Fed him. Took care of him at the beginning of his life. And now… he’s doing the same for her.

But today feels different.

Because today… they have a home again.

A real kitchen. A bathroom. Heat. Air. Space to breathe. Space to live.

And maybe the best part — there’s room again for their kids and grandkids to come back. You can feel it. This isn’t just a house… it’s life opening back up.

And even now… at 85… she’s saying, “Give me a tool. I’ll do what I can in the garden. I want to help.”

That gets me.

This isn’t about comfort. It’s about contribution.

And Anatoli’s already thinking the same way — working the land again, feeding his mom, sharing with the community.

Here, it’s never just about one. It’s about everyone.

Honestly? That challenges me.

It makes me ask: how can I do more? Not just here, but at home too. How can I use what I have to bring hope to someone else?

Because that’s what this is all about.

So… who’s with me?
